PRESENTATION OF TITLES
► Because instrumentation is used to organize the catalogues of
instrumental and chamber works, titles include full instrumentation
only:
1. to clarify works of a similar title (e.g. sonatas and trios)
2. to indicate original instrumentation when a work is listed using
its alternative scoring
MISCELLANEOUS
► Unless otherwise noted, "harp" indicates pedal (or concert) harp
► When harp is cited as an alternative to the piano, it is always
listed as a chamber work: when piano is used to substitute for the
harp, it is listed as an instrumental work.
